Here I am at the end of my Loyal Volunteer build, and I am thinking of fenders. What have other Loyal builders used? The pictures of the 1:1 boats show few if any fenders. After all, the are not tugs, but cargo/training vessels.
As always thanks for your advice, in advance.

The original boats used standard pussers issued cane fenders, as did all mod craft for mobile fenders.

If you cannot get or model cane woven fenders, the next best thing is rubber tyres. Surprised no one has modelled cane fenders, as they are still and have been for over 40 years the RN prefered standard fender. They are cheap, light to use and last a long time. Rope woven fenders are very expensive to make, heavy and do not last very long.
