Title: good news from sirmar
Post by: trigrodge on April 08, 2011, 08:56:45 pm
no one needs reminding of the mess sirmar was left in with unfulfulled orders, no contact etc, and having been a victim myself i was concerned i would never see my type 22 semi kit,
until i contacted pauls business partner, having exchanged e-mails (yes he answers them!) i am again confident of recieving my kit my hull is being posted tommorow and fittings to follow.
we had a pleasant chat over the phone and barry expressed his desire to complete all outstanding orders then he hopes to carry on and develope more kits,
he was a gentleman over the phone and always answers e-mails so the future looks positive

 kindest regards
       leigh

What good news. I know that you had spent a lot of money, from previous talk with you. Its great to
hear that youve finally got your kit. Enjoy your build John.

This is good news indeed. However, what are the contact details and is there a web site? When can we look forward to being able to place new orders?

A bit premature don`t you think?
Considering the back orders that have to be fullfilled, and the fact that he`s working on his own, the last thing Baz needs is further pressure at this time %%
Give the guy a chance to get his business back on an even keel and them worry about placing orders.
Baz will soon let everyone know when things are back up and running :-))

No I didn't think it premature. I don't have the good luck to be personally aquainted with the gentleman. I have no knowledge of how big his back order list is, that's why I asked the question. Thanks for your information. I'll rest arms reversed for the moment

As you obviously have comms with Baz, please be kind enough to pass on my best wishes, and also those I am sure of most involved with this forum?

I met Baz when he personally delivered my Hermes hull etc over here in Norwich.

He certainly deserves to be 'cut some slack', while he tries to resurrect the 'Phoenix' from the ashes of Sirmar.

Good news indeed. If you are reading this Baz, good luck. When you are up and running I'll have some fitting from you.

finally got all my fittings yesterday, the quality is top notch,
i must say a huge thank you to barry for his efforts in getting them finished as i had given up hope of ever seeing them before barry stepped up,
he even found time in his busy schedule to make time and take some pics of the 22 he's building to aid me in my build,

will definately be using him again and i really hope he make's it a success and im sure with his attitude he will!!
