Are there big issues trying to mix inch and metric size tubing and fittings?
Is 3mm close enough to 1/8 in and 4mm to 5/32 to allow for strong enough joints?
I like the Anton gas pressure regulator with low pressure cut off but my other fittings are inch based.

This subject has come up before, I am almost certain.
Do a search on the steam sections of the forum.
Also, try the Nautical College board and the Research and Design office boards as well.

4mm is 0.1575" and 5/32 is 0.15625", so close enough not to matter in most cases. 3mm is 0.118" and 1/8" is 0.125, so a bit more difference there. 3mm pipe will be very slack in 1/8 fittings and 1/8 pipe won't fit 3mm fittings. If you have a lathe, or know someone who has, it's easy enough to get round the problem.

Hullo ...Landlocked......most Anton gas regulating components........& yes there are four available are soft sealed [o-ring sealing] but on 2.0 OD mm tubing
Do not be confused here with comments of "pipe" ......all of the tube components used here are OD tubing
The word pipe >>:-( relates to nominal bore <*<
Should you decide to go the Anton way......it is relatively simple to soft solder capilliary telescopic tubing between your imperial tube sizes back to metric & back again..... :-)) ....Derek

Hi I have connected anton metric regulators to inch piping, and Metric Oiler to inch piping. Everything works well

Don't mix Metric with Imperial size tubes/fittings unless using a correctly sized adapter which invariably means access to a lathe. This only applies to the UK, let everyone else please themselves.
