Hello, I joined for 2 reasons. I recently moved to Lanzarote and would like to get in touch with local boat modelers (there must be some, I hope).
The other reason is that I am seeking some help/advice to build the Steam launch "Wide a wake". A few years ago I build the "River Queen" also a clinker build launch.
I have already made the Stuart D10 for the Wide a Wake but have a problem locating the prop. The drawing calls for a 3 " diameter and an 8" pitch.
Anybody out there that has build the boat?

Welcome ! You are in a favourite holiday destination for UK modellers. Be sure to let us know what you find there, clubs , boating ponds, model shops etc. Oh and post some pictures of your builds please. :-)) Cant think of anyone on this forum from there, you can be our "man on the spot". :}
