Seen today just north of the BUTEC range , the crew were having a BBQ while waiting for another sub arriving about half an hour later , then both went onto the range

Very Unusual for an SSBN to be on the surface once it leaves the Clyde - the operational  one would never surface
unless there was an emergency.  Must be a post refit cruise.

This is my favourite type of sub, it's got style and substance. If I was ever to make one this would be it.

Armour plating Willie , fitted after the 7/7 terrorist attacks in London. Fitted there to protect the warheads from being hit by an RPG rocket , last thing we'd need is damage to that end of the missile !!!

Cheers Davie , thought it was that but just not sure looked like bigger versions of the pllates we had in or body armourwhen were deployed over the water

Well, a "T" and an "A" have tried to move Skye, why not try it with a V - Bomber?
