Title: model battleship AA guns

Hello everyone.

I am building a 9' model yamato which has numerous small AA guns.

I was looking for some way to make the AA guns look and sound like firing.  I know there are systems that can simulate a single machine gun with a loudspeaker and flashing LED but is there anything available that could do the same for numerous guns?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Have a look round the pound shops for toys with LED's and firing sounds.
Some of these can be very effective at a small cost to be broken up and used.

Hey I'll try that, thanks. I will also see if there are any simple diy circuits available that could do a similar thing.

Something else I was wondering about is the main guns on the ship, what kind of pyrotechnics could be used to make the guns fire?
