Title: Futaba FF9 on 40MHz
Post by: g4yvm on June 05, 2011, 11:34:13 pm
Anyone fitted a 40 MHz module to a FF9?  I cant seem to find one on t'internet, so I just wondered...

Failing that, there are many cheap sets (good makes, but "old fashioned" ha ha) on ebay so how many channels does a submarine use up?  Bow planes, stern planes, rudders, throttle, tanks, pitch control...5? 6?

Minimum is 3 for a dynamic diver, 4 for static dive. And the skys the limit if you have a complicated boat. Get the best set you can - there is minimal differance in 2nd hand price between 6 and 8/9 channel sets. Yes ther are plenty of people using the FF9 on 40Mhz with the appropriate module.
