Me too! I was thinking of ordering one so I could pick it up at the Warwick show.

Kindly remember, Models by Design take 3 weeks to make your order, as they keep very little "on the shelf". I had to wait this time for my mersey hull, so don;t leave your order too late, whilst "thinking" about it so to speak.

Hello Stubbsy
I have'nt got any photos of the build but it has been a bit of a swine, Andy at models by design did warn me about the shape and that was'nt too bad what i had trouble with was the joints pulled apart in places despite putting in lots of tabs, in the end i had a rare moment of clarity and drilled a series of holes in the ribs then taped up the hull nice and tight then i used expanding foam job done. Ive pretty much finished the console thanks to the photos from No6 and company on the forum so the next job will be putting in a transom then, the motors i'm using the graupner outboards. I'm building the boat for my old mate Stan so he's supplying all the bits i'll try and get some pictures of the current state in a few days. I'm hoping the performance is worth the early trouble but i think it will be worth while.

I'm afraid the pictures will have to wait untill next wekend as i've been too busy catching up with 'jobs' this week.

Here i go i managed to slip out to the workshop the first 2 photo's show the hull not a lot to see dispite the work involved getting that far, the 3rd photo you can see i've set it up to take 2 different battery sizes 7.2v and 8.6v packs, my mate Stan has got both battery types in different configurations so this should help him out a bit and its set up to take an Electronize esc. The last 2 shots show the console so far the hardest part was shaping the front, in the end i used the half round sections Andy supplied and then i used car body repair mesh to form over the top of them, once fixed in position i then covered it all in P38 car body filler and sanded to shape i hope to spend a bit more time on it over the next few weeks.
