Hi,
I have been working on a 1:40 scale UC5/M1 WW1 submarine
Dimensions 33.5" length, inner width at widest point is 2 and 7/8"
The hull has been split at the widest dia to make it easy to install a pipe style WTC or flat lexan WTC.
The boat can be built as a UC German type or M1 Dutch boat.
The casing was cast in PVC, so it picked up all the details
There will be a total of 5 pieces- top and bottom hull, one piece casing, a corning tower all out of epoxy resin and the little add on piece on top of the corning tower cast in plastic.
I am planning on doing a few hulls, so email me if you are interested

"corning tower"?? You do mean CONNING tower, don't you??
Boat looks good. It's about time someone came up with a WWI boat.

Pics of the inside of the boat...
The blue air bag is made from a piece of backwash hose, can be got from any pool supplier.
It works really well in the boat. The boat is trimmed and ready to go... weather permitting.
