Title: Cal Mac Raasay plans
Post by: cestrdoxa on June 22, 2011, 10:29:43 am
I have just spent an enjoyable week in Oban watching the Cal Mac ferries coming and going.

Does anyone know where I can look for plans for the small island class ferry Raasay? The sister ship Eigg has been modified with an extra deck, but plans for either would be helpful.

Thank you.

write a letter to Mr.Gordon Hills  Fleet Support Officer, Cal Mac Ferries Ltd, Ferry Terminal, Gourock, PA19 1QP, asking for his help.

He will only answer your request for plans if you put it in writing, as he gets so many telephone enquiries

he was very helpful when my daughter wrote to him asking for plans for the Loch Riddon, and she got plans and photos of her within a week or so.

very nice man to talk to.
