That's great Mike.  I saw your stand at the recent Mangotsfield Show and chatted to the guys. Hope they bring their craft as they are worth seeing again.

Cheers

There are a few stands for model boats.  Usually its SHG models and Waverley Models that cater for model boats but there are other general stands with batteries, chargers, Evergreen plastic supplies, adhesives etc

the grub screws round off very easily , what ive found is to use a t7 or t8 torx screwdriver to release the grub screw , i then replace them with an m3 stainless steel one ! my models are always used in the sea so everything i buy is either stainless or brass .

I will be there on the Clevedon Model Boat stand most of the time we have a good selection of models on display.

Note Waverly models will not have a stand

I went and had a thoroughly good time. The engineering on display was astounding.

It was dedicated to the machine modeller and there were machines for cutting metal in all sorts of ways. Mostly geared towards the model train fraternity with engines up to six foot long, along with the wood trimmers and turners. Tools were for sale by the hundreds and I grabbed some serious hardware. The lathes were out of my reach though !! The salesman was entertaining, even with his Four and a half fingers.

S.H.G. were there with boaty bits and I spent a bit on 'essentials' and came away happy. I wore my Mayhem cap and wondered if anyone saw it as I saw nobody else from the boating world.

Forgot to mention the boat stands. There weren't many but the quality of the builds was extraordinary. Didn't take long to see them all.

Yes, I'd go again.
