can anyone point me in the direction where to obtain drawings or books containing dimensions for the construction of marine boilers.
-
I might be able to help, what steam engine do you have in mind and what heating method are the first questions, followed of course by what sort of hull are you going to put it all in ?
I might have the drawing you need (failing that I'll draw one up for you)
There are also a few books aound
Model Stationary and marine Engines by K N Harris
Making Simple model Steam Engines by Stan Bray
Model marine Steam by Stan Bray
High Speed marine Steam by A A Rayman
To name just a few, available from Tee Publishing www.teepublishing.co.uk
Hope this helps
