Title: G'day from Botany Bay
Post by: sinxalot on August 03, 2011, 04:46:20 pm
g'day all, I've been registered for a while (lurking %)  ) this is a really great forum thanks to you all for sharing so much info. and how to 's,
I recently retired and now have the time (but maybe not the patience )to satisfy my urge to build a steam drifter ,I' did my apprenticeship building clinker fishing boats back in the 50's
but haven't built many model boats, apart from radio yachts, sonow I can get stuck into it and build my drifter, also have a live steam liberty ship on the stocks.
Cheers Col.

Welcome Col, hope you will enjoy being on the forum. I have some friends in Sydney,I buy SU carburettor parts from them, they are real nice people & give great service. I think Aussies are fun people, lots come to Canada for skying, crazy to leave all that sunshine for -20/ 25 below zero weather. I am hoping to visit Australia before I kick the bucket LOL. Mick B.
