I'm in the process of building from scratch an 800mm x 250mm x 100mm mono which I plan to fit out with surface drive hardware and possibly brushless electrics.
However, I'm a little stumped for ideas for the superstructure as I don't want anything too simple but as this is my first build not too complicated either.
Any suggestions on a postcard!!!

personally I'd go for an offshore power boat top, these are usually just a canopy of some description. Try google image search of offshore powerboat & there are plenty too choose from

Hi Mike,
Progress is a little slow at the moment as I'm a sucker for attention to detail and a bit of a perfectionist so making sure it's all square and well built before sticking anything.
Will post a progress report soon.

i noticed you got two builds on the go. i was wondering if ya got the bottom on the scratch built done? My build is similar to yours i went for an open top. it worked out pretty good not too difficult but better than a canopy in my oppinion. Draw back is though water splashes inside and you have to arange everything around in the hull to make a well for the seats and foor.

Don't really want to until some of the hardware is installed as it should make it a bit easier for alignment etc.
