Thought someone might have some ideas on this. I recently bought a model of the Forrest Sherman Destroyer from BaD models in Arizona. The hull is plank on frame. However due to a series of mishaps involving heavy pieces of equipment etc the hull has now been damaged beyond repair and I have not yet finished the model. In fact I haven't even started on the superstructure yet!! I was going to get a replacement from the US but the shipping costs make this an expensive option. I was wandering whether anyone could suggest a GRP replacement hull which I could get here in the UK. The origional hull size was 52 1/2 inches X 6 inches.

Why can't you build a new hull? If it's damaged beyond repair disassemble it and make new parts by measuring and copying the old ones.
