Title: ANYBODY use/got a rc canal boat

hi to all im new on here so im just starting to build my first static model,i would like to no if anybody has a nice rc canal boat? if so were did you buy it from,and what do you think to it please?photos would be great,many thanks for your time and help   :-))

hi mollski , ive got one at 1/24th scale that has been built for my partner to use , the plans i drew up myself , construction is from 1/16 th inch birch plywood ! jon

Hello Mollski, I've got a canal boat, not sure of the scale off hand, purchased from George Turner models, I dont think its available any longer though I could be wrong,

Here's mine, still very much under construction, but now operational.

She's approx 1/24th scale, and has a 12v 3700a/h battery pack, 12v 385 motor, mini servo for the rudder and an ACTion Condor esc, and Planet5 2.4gHz radio.

The "load of hay bales" is in fact a block of foam, covered in a section of a bin bag liner, and roped down for sailing.

Sadly George  Turner models has wound down .He made good figures as well. John
