Title: Help to identify hull
Post by: stiggofthedump on October 09, 2011, 08:26:52 am
Hi I picked up an old hull at a carboot for a couple of quid and would like to restore it but haven't a clue what it once was can anyone help please. I have rubbed some of the green paint off and found grey underneath?.

It looks very like a Fairmile hull.  From the rubbing strake it is more similar to a C but from the stand plates towards the aft end it seems as if it was fitted as a minelaying version and these were mostly A and Bs.
