Personally, depending upon the radius required, I would glue it together at 90 degrees and then sand a radius on the resulting corner.

When I make the shell of a sail or conning tower for a sub from plastic, I just bend it in front of a hair dryer to the shape needed, tape it up with masking tape and then glue it with solvent weld.

That's how the tower in the pic was done.

Plasticard can be bent using a hair dryer or by placing in hot water.

Dont overdo the heat though. :-))

No need to use heat. Simply draw the plasticard over an edge. With a bit of practice just about any curve can be made. For a curve in the middle of a length, only draw the bit that needs the bend.
If this gets posted it's my first ever from the Pad! Main computer threw a serious wobbled yesterday and has been towed away to the repair shop.

Hi All,

If you are interested in getting an iPad I can get hold of them through a contact. These are ok, not off the back of a truck, & they are from a cancelled Hospital contract due to the Government cutbacks.

The numbers are limited - the bloke has twenty iPads going for less than half price so it's first come first served.

He has already sold one (pic is attached below so you can see what you are getting).

Get back to me as quick as you can if you want one.

Yup...major breakdown on desktop. All repaired now...but now the new keyboard/mouse or something won't recognize my scanner. I think it's something to do with the TWAIN capture. As you can well imagine, I'm lost without my scanner! Especially when it comes to passing on the contents of (out of copyright) books to you lot. 5 unsuccessful hours and I'm feeling really hacked off. Done all the "usual" stuff like uninstalling and re-installingbut zilch so far. I might be obliged to snaffle the wifes scanner, but it ain't a patch on my Canon 9900F. Ever seen a septuganarian burst into tears through sheer frustration bemoaning his ignorance? Not a pretty sight. Bryan.

Ned, you may well be correct after the frustrations of today (see my reply to Kenny). Trouble is that an iPad is a bit rough on the nether regions when using it for purposes it wasn't really designed for....and it becomes hard to clean. In the words of the great Spike...thank you for your support, I shall wear it always. Bryan.
