in the papers today mr cameron is giving the imf 40   billion pounds and i thought the uk was broke

Its a way of avoiding being seen to give money directly to support the Euro. Give it to the IMF who then lend it to support the Euro.I believe its also called Smoke and Mirrors.John

Give it to the IMF you have a chance of getting something in return later.
