Has anyone had a Li-po battery discharge itself?
I have 2, 11v 2200 amh batteries, balance charged them both to 12.6v. Kept them in the save bag & went to use them a week later. 1 of them provided no power at all!
Thinking it was an esc fault i left for home.Once home i checked both with my volt meter, 1 at 12.37v the other at 5.7v now thats 1.9v per cell!
My esc auto cut of is 3v p/c which i had raised to a total of 10v. The battery is not damaged in any way, has never got wet, is only 6 weeks old & charged about 8 times.
I now have a useless "Over lander" battery that i paid £25 for.
Has anyone had or heared of this before? is there a cure?
Your thoughts please.

hi ralphy have you got your hydroplane sorted yet? as far as i know i think once the lipo has gone under 3v its bin fodder. maybe its shorted out somehow or been overdrawn

Talk to the supplier first if UK based
If the supplier has 'Insrcutable' in his profile
it is still worth an Email to him
Try before naming and shaming

I agree with Martin and Ned,
Speak to the supplier as it does sound as if the battery is at fault, not you ;)
Edit:
As an afterthought, have you got one of these? CLICK ME (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lipo-Battery-Voltage-Meter-Checker-Indicator-2-6-cell-/330608902487?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item4cf9d38157)
They are absolutely invaluable and I use mine ALL the time checking individual cells, well worth a few quid :-))
