I know this will get moved to another, less well read section, but before it does, could anyone give me an idea on how to recharge single C size cells with a B6 charger? I have purchased a collectable RC submarine which takes 6 of these C size cells and apart from taping them together and putting a Deans connector on, I'm getting short on ideas...no, I don't want to buy another charger just for this one job as I've only just upgraded from a B5 :}
Ta so...
You were correct. :}

I use proprietary "wired', (has a positive and a negative wire connected for charging purposes) battery holders which you should be able to buy similar locally.
These battery holders are available in units of 1, 2, 4, 6, cells etc and in AA, C or D sizes also.
If I have five cells use a 4+1=5 cells just remember to connect the two holders in series.
The charger auto detects the voltage, in this example 6 volts.
For your application buy a six cell "C" holder.
The one in the photo is "AA" size.

Wow! I have just seen some C cells being advertised at 11,000mah...... by gum that's some storage....or maybe Chinese mah.....

Well here's one of many for 10000mah batteries, but yesterday I saw one for 11000 which I now can't find...but 10,000 is massive as well

Strange how they advertise 10000 (10A) rating, show 9000 (9A) in photo and enlarged body Ad. shows 9500 (9.5A)
Perhaps the capacity grows in transport.
Regards Ian.

Hi I bought some 7.2 volt sub C's 3800 mah cells and they seemed more like 2500mah to me in performance.
I think you get what you pay for!
