Need some advise, as new to Model boats.
I am building a 1/32nd scale Steam tug, and what some advsie on the drive system, at present it is for a nice boat to play with, but what to make sure it is right.
I think it the motor down to either the ;-
MMM T12
720 Torque
MFA 800 Tropendo
Is there any others?
What do you guys think is the best?
Then, what speed controller for it
And Finally
What prop?
The plan look like a 95mm, but I think the kits of the similar tug use about a 75mm, 4 blade.
Advice required, as this is all new to me.

Neil welcome to model boating, hope you enjoy it
Motor
720 Torque on 12volt
MFA 500 Torpedo with 6:1 gearing on 12volt
MFA 500 Torpedo with 2.5:1 gearing on 6volt
ACTion P80 Esc http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/pdfs/P80.pdf
70 mm 4 bladed brass prop
My opinion, hope this helps. Any other queries just ask.

A call to Bryan at Mobile Marine Models will answer all your questions. His range of motors is very good - designed for the Tugs he designs and sells. He can also advise on your prop. With that info a call to Action will get you an ESC, and a wiring diagram if required.

Well
I have bought a T12 Motor and prop shaft from Brian at MMM.
so the next bit is to build these into the mass of ply wood I will be cutting out over the weekend, to start my boat.
