Hi all (first post went a bit hay wire)
Have just had a go at setting up my new radio. set it up with a independent battery supply first to see if it was bound OK which it was
Next I plugged the rudder servo into position 1 as marked on the r6m receiver, however this was operating on the left hand stick ,so I moved it to position 2 this now seems to function as I want on the right hand stick moving from side to side so far so good.
Now I am confused I want to plug in the esc (a tornado type) should this be plugged into position 1 ?? Reading the instructions on the radio it says to insure you get the neg and pos the correct way on the receiver (this is clearly marked on the receivers) but the esc has a lead comming from it to plug into the receiver but has three wires brown red and orange (red being in the centre) but which on is negative and should it plug into position 1
Thanks in advance for any help/advice (Thank you Dicky)
Regards as always Tony

Hi Tony
Your rudder ought to be the right control.
Instruction book page 5 Rx Channel Assignment:
1 - Throttle
2 - Aileron
3 - Elevator
4 - Rudder
Your rudder might work on one of the other channels
Plug your esc in with the exposed gold pins the same way up as your other plug. ie brown is black.

Boat Rudder in ch 2
Ailerons steer aircraft
ESC in ch1
all the 2.4 GHz seem to be aimed at aeroplane operation.
