Title: starting an i.c engine marine

i have bought a new 21 marine engine from a.p.c and what settings should you start off with i meando you have it on full throttle and keep the main needle out about 2.5 turns and what about the height of the fuel tank how low can you go thanks anyone

hi i normaly start from 3 terns out for a ferst start as for the fueal tank keeping it as level with carb as you can is alays good but if your presure feeding the tank from the pipe then you can go quite a bit lower and to start it i normaly just have the throtle just abouve 1/3 open should get it started just dont run it for to long without water going throw the head  :-))

and back the glow plug off a little so its not so tight when new ( just remember to re tighten before launch)
