This weekend in Midhurst, at The Grange Leisure Centre, The 30th Annual Modellers Exhibition, Sunday 19th February 2012, 10am till 5pm.
Well worth a visit, many local boat clubs in attendance, good grub, model railways, meccano, aircraft, model engineering. This year it promises not to snow, make a date....

Hi Alan,
Don't forget the Traders who will be there including us - Hunter Systems and Mastman and of course many others!!!!!!!!!!!!
A really good day out and also somewhere to go to grab a bargain. The only rooms not used to accommodate traders or exhibitors are the toilets - there again!

I used to go to this, but the publicity regarding this event in the Portsmouth area is poor I seem to often miss it, again absolutely nothing in our local paper, this is the first mention of it I've seen.

You always see adverts for the Midhurst Monthly Market in the Grange, but the organisers of the model exhibition don't seem to want to advertise the event very widely. Shame because it is a good event, although the Grange itself is ghastly.

Yes, publicity seems to be limited to posters in windows and maybe a small ad in the local papers, however, it still generates a good through put of people. It has been organised by new people these last couple of years, if I see them, I will put that point across. Sorry traders, Mister Forgetful forgot you. Its the traders that give us something to do once the food runs out upstairs and you have walked the building twice already!
And.. it may be a bit of a dump but we love it ( they are bulldozing it soon and putting a new building up so that should reduce our parking to almost zero, while paying for the little bit of parking left :embarrassed:). Happy days, anyway see you all there, will try and get some photos for those that cannot make it.
