It could be an Aerokit but some (good) pictures of the superstructure would be worthwile.

I will get some structural pictures of the boat on the weekend for you, but from what I can see on the inside the  wood skinning is in two planks. So basically there is two planks of wood on each side of the boat if that helps you identify this boat. Sorry for not giving you a lot of information at this present time.  :embarrassed:

The pictures are rather poor for identification - but I don't immediately recognise it as any Aerokits boat I know.

You need a lot more light to get a good, crisp picture. Take a picture outdoors in the sunlight - that should help. And measure it - length and beam - precisely. That will let people look it up more easily...

It's not Aerokits or Veron, doubtfull if it's from any proprietary Kit maker. It's a job to tell but she seems well built and the wood looks good quality, my guess would be that it's a hull built from a cabin cruiser plan with the superstructure left off or lost, you could trawl through some of the sites offering plans to see if there is anything with the same hull or boat site photo galleries.
Plus keep your fingers crossed that someone out there has one hidden away!!

Just beaten me with "Tain't Hairykits"

Looks like "Magpie" - MM1028 without the Cabin Cruiser topworks.

Come to think of it, 38" rings a bell. I think it was 38" when I measured it. It could well be a magpie. I will double check the measurements of the boat this weekend and will compare it with the magpie. Thank you all for the help so far. :-))
