Title: 1980s~ Graupner Pegasus III restoration
Post by: robertmb on March 05, 2012, 07:15:32 pm
Hi everyone :-)
I am new to this forum, and am a beginner to modelling boats.
I have inherited a Graupner Pegasus III (Anyone else have one?) and would like to start restoring it, for it is in quite a state at the moment.
I have already restored a Graupner Maxi Speed so I have very limited knowledge on r/c.
The motors look intact but there is lots of old battery connectors and it looks like the transmitter/receiver will need replacing and I have no idea what state the lights/rotating sonar bar are in. Could anyone help me if I post a few pictures?
Thank you very much!  :-))

I have altered your print colour as

Please post some pictures showing what you need answers about. It does sound like a rewire will be needed. The motors, propshafts etc once lubed may well be ok for further use. Im sure the lads will be able to advise and help you. John.
