Title: Oh Bum, broken antenna!
Post by: Terry on March 25, 2012, 06:57:52 pm
Just finished building an airboat, tried it out on the living room floor, it moved in the right direction. Yippee, lets get down to the lake. Oh b***ocks the Tx antenna has snapped, paper thin tubing.javascript:void(0); That's my sad tale, the question is:  I can get a replacement quickly from Conrad but it may not be exactly the same length as the original. Will this be a problem, it's a 27mHz set.

Cheers, Terry.

As long as it fits and is within an inch or so of the origonal then it usually makes little diference to the performance
