Early '80s, I only remember 2 model shops in or very near to Oxford - Howes in Broad Street, and Oxford Model Center in St Clements, (both shops still operating), although there were several 'model departments' in shops like Debenhams etc.
Do you remember where in Oxford the shop was?
Mark.

i cant remember exactly but there was a market nearby that had the nicest pork pies i have ever had :} and it was in the city rather than the suburbs.
