After 8 months my 1/8 scale WWII Higgins Boat Landing craft finally got launched on May 26, 2012. The boat contains over 1,200 individual pieces of balsa wood. The assembly of the basic boat hull took over two months to complete. The hardest part was assembling all of the various running gear parts and components and finally getting them all installed in the boat. The Landing craft handles beautifully and really flies across the water. Its a thing of beauty and a true joy to watch her sail across the lake every evening.
