Post by: HawkEye on July 28, 2012, 08:44:43 pm
Pass this on to anyone you know with young children -

"The children in high fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ than those who lived in low fluoride areas,"

It would be nice to have a choice. Don't the water companies all add fluoride to drinking water as a matter of course (at least in the UK)?

Could account for much that we see around us. :(( >:-o <:( >>:-(
There was a theory expressed a while back that the ancient Romans liked to quaff their acidic plonk from pewter vessels, and it was the lead content that caused them to head for decline and fall.

Romans- not pewter but lead in the glaze in the pottery and, if you can credit it, lead oxide used as a sweetener in cooking. You think saccharin is bad for you.....

Are'nt some people jumping the gun here?   The report states "Our results support the possibility".  In other words, the findings are not even conclusive enough to suggest a 'probability' but obviously that is sufficient for anybody with an axe to grind to leap to conclusions which suit there own viewpoint and for some to look on possibilities as fact. Why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

I conclude that my purchase of a Lottery ticket supports the possibility that I will be a millionaire come the weekend - but I'm not holding my breath.
