Does anyone else have one of these kits? I got mine about a month ago-- haven't started it yet. (I'm finishing off a couple of small projects to make room on the bench.)
I've been looking through the instructions-- they make mention of an "Appendix 1", which I didn't get. I emailed Adrian at Speedline, and he told me that a couple of kits had been shipped without it, and that he'd send it along in a week.
That's the last time I've heard from him--- I've emailed several times since, with no response. I know that the kit's development was delayed a bit, in part because of some personal/family issues that Adrian had to take care of. I figure the only reason I haven't heard from Speedline in over a month is becasue something more important/serious has come up.....
I'm reluctanct to keep chasing him-- if he's dealing with something serious, the last thing he needs is more inquiries from me.
So, I thought I'd come to the forum-- I understand that around 25 kits were shipped in the first production run. I'm hoping that someone out there has Appendix 1 to the instructions and might be able to help me out, or at least let me know what I'm missing.......

Hello rcboater1
Would it be possible to post a picture of what your kit looks like? I am not sure I know what the kit looks like and I am interested in it also could you let me know what the price of the kit is?
Thanks rcboater1

Here's a link to the Speedline website with the info on the model:

The kit sells for about GBP 500.

A full 12 page review of this kit by John Elliott is to be published in the Model Boats regular Autumn Special which is on sale at the end of October. Editor Paul Freshney has also built one and will add some notes about some modifications he has made.
A bit long to wait I know, but I have seen photos of their models which look great.

Adrian's kits are always fun to build, so I am sure you will enjoy.

Hello everyone.
The delays mentioned were due to my wife having cancer. She's pretty well over it now.
The LCM 3 (£395 by the way not £500) has been joined by an LCM6, so Tamiyas Sherman (Pacific war) is perfect.
It is £415 including UK postage.

Glad to know your good lady is on the mend Adrian, I wish you both the best.
