Title: RTR New Castle Tugs

here are a few pictures of three of these rtr tugs that we have in our club at the moment.  All slightly different.

They're such nice looking tugs!  I'd love to have one in the red and yellow McAllister trim like the Salvage Monarch wore.

They are the New castle      Howes models are selling them and they retail at about £290 or about $500 in the USA  or thereabouts, they are produced by Graupner  Just Google New Castle RTR tug  all you have to do to get them going is fit the rudder servo and your own choice of radio and ESC stick a battery in and away you go, the motor and shaft and coupling are already fitted.  I think they recommend 6 volts but we are running ours on 12 for more towing power, they really are like little ducks on the water,when I towed the crane barge flat out and with full rudder she turned so tightly I could see her keel but did not go over any further, great fun boat  and they look very good straight out of the box, but even better with a little alteration and a paint job. they are 813mm or 33inches long.  geo

pretty cool tugs and do look good with a touch of paint  :-))
decent size as well at 33 ", i may just have a look at those  ;)

Had one of these, rolled abit to say the least lol
