Title: Steam launch accessories
Post by: steam up on November 18, 2012, 09:25:16 pm
Inspired by the fantastic atmospheric models of Bernard I set about making some accessories for my steam launch (where does he find those bits and pieces?). ;)
The following photos and video is showing my first effort a working stirrup pump. I had to look up a GCSE physics exam to find out how they worked.
Once completed it will no doubt never be put to work but at least I will know it works.

Great piece of modelmaking, now all we need to see is whether it has enough power to top up the boiler while still at pressure, Cheers, Ian.
