Title: need help with an issue
Post by: chris gillespie on December 20, 2012, 08:12:54 pm
Hi

I have some nice lengths of abs plastic however there are some deep scratches, what is the best way to fill them out,
i have easysand 2 part stuff in a tin, i also have p38  ive used this stuff on my fibreglass hull im not sure if its suitable for plastic. Ive heard of plastic padding is it basically the same stuff, or is there something out there similar to wood filler except for plastic ?

cheers

Try Plasto or Squadron Green or White Filler.  Plasto is very much more thinner than the squadron offerings better for filling scratches etc as opposed to gaps.
