Having just read through the info posted a while ago on brushless motors and esc's I have a question that does not seem to have been addressed - unless I missed it!
When thinking of the specification of a motor and the alternatives for motor length, what difference to the motor performance/output does a change in length make?

If the winding density remains the same resulting in the same KV, you can expect an increase in torque. Much in the way a speed 600 generally will give greater torque than a 500 assuming they are wound to give the same RPM.
