It's no good, I can't resist it.....

There's a little shop in Amsterdam which does all sorts of latex and rubber..... or

How about mugging a local surfer ;D

Seriously, wetsuit material is about that thick, but where you would find a worn out wetsuit, I don't know ???

Cheaper option, but questionable size - inner tubes from old truck tyres - go see your local tyre fitter.

Wet suits are usually neoprene - check out your nearest scuba dive centre... or look at the local swimming pool, they usually practice or advertise there

the use of the rubber is for one of my hovercrafts skirt, the usual material for this is rip-stop nylon but i want to make one out of thin rubber.

Hi,
What about Neoprene pond liner. I think that is about the thickness you are after.

Try scrounging some from a BT cable jointer.   About 3 ft wide and on a roll, adhesive one side, sticks very well to it's self and is used as a temporary cable joint closure.   Good for sound deadening panels on car.   BT vans are also a good source of lead, copper wire, tape, crimps, tools, shrink down closures of various sized, blue towel, etc. etc.

Try a litho print company, they throw away their damaged printing blankets.
