All respected Modelers.. i need a guidance from you, regarding a device that situated in front of the tug boat.. now i am working on a low profile harbor tug, in to 4 feet scale.. its almost complete.. and my work is based on a photograph of a real machine.. so, i saw a red, water pump like device at the first floor deck of the tug.. and it is not clear in the photograph.. is that a real water gun..? and from where can i get a good close up photo of this one..? please help once..

It might be a harpoon gun or water cannon. Any chance you could put a picture up please.

Sir, i do not know, that about any copy right issue.. still it looks like a device that i found on many fire boats.. looks like a gun.. in signal red colour..

I think your'e talking about something like this. It's usually referred to as a "Fire Monitor". If you google for it you should find lots of pics.

please i have one more doubt to clear.. i found lots of lights over the mast of the tug.. from where can i understand the real colours and applications of these lights..? please..

Tugs display 2 or three white lights vetically on the mast depending on the length of the vessel they are towing. From the back they show 2 lights white and yellow with the yellow at the top and, of course they show green and red to port and starboard.
