Hi there, my name is Brian, born and bred in Byron Bay  N.S.W Ive been making models since my teens,I have never been involved in any Model Clubs or Forums before, after stumbling onto this modeling site I was amazed by the amount of talent out there. I come from a Fishing Family, so have been around boats and the sea all my life and involved with helping of building with some of our vessels,crewing and skippering them over the years did most of my work in the Gulf of Carpentaria (top of Australia). I haven't made any models for over seven yrs now, since we sold the last of our trawlers in 2009 Ive been doing some traveling around Australia, I will get back into building when I drop the pick in one spot, if I can work out how to attach some photo's I would like to show a model of one of our trawlers I finished back in 1984 and one of the last I made about 2005.
