This is the second series of photos I shot at the Yamato museum in Kure, Japan, last summer. The introduction to the photo collection, along with the first series (stern study) is contained in a previous post: http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,38496.0.html (http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,38496.0.html)
Series II contains mostly previously unpublished photos of examples of the various calibers of naval artillery carried aboard the Yamato, from triple AA mounts installed in gun tubs on deck, to the clustered heavier calibers of twins found in the armored citadel, to the secondaries, both turreted and non-turreted, to the massive 18" main guns.
