Title: Action P51 A?
Post by: john44 on March 21, 2013, 05:36:32 pm
Hi guys, does anyone know what a Action P51 A is?
How do you wire it up etc.
I have been on the products listings but it must be an old product
as it is not listed, so sadly no wiring diag.

Very old! Pre-dates my ownership (2007). Any chance of a picture of the circuit board (component side up)?

It's a forerunner of the current P80 speed controller i.e. 20A continuous. Wiring is as per P80 http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/pdfs/P80.pdf (http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/pdfs/P80.pdf). Ken - I'm not Bob the Builder but I might be able to fix it. It depends on what's wrong with it and maybe also if I can find any of the original PIC chips for it. PM me if interested.

Sorry Dave If I sounded rude  was just a bit tongue in cheek was just trying to say how good ACTion stuff is no matter for old but you may now slap my waist instead of shaking my hand next time we meet.
                              Regards Howard.

Don't be daft - I can recognise a joke when I see one (but slap your waist?? Another strange Yellowbelly tradition?)
