Post by: Vts99 on March 24, 2013, 01:13:53 pm
Hi I'm currently working on a graupner loschkruzer Weser but wanting to get bk to the navy days I grew up with and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on a 1/96th type 23 kit or semi kit and what internals would be best for this once I get it

Hi VTS99!

www.arkmodel.com (China!!!) offers a Type 23 kit with GRP hull. Actually, I was looking at it with some interest.

Price EUR 643,50 ...!!!

Hmm?

Cheers!

Pop along to Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club on Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon.

There are both a 96th and a 72nd scale Type 23's there at the moment.

A fellow at Yeovil Model Warship Association recently ordered a Perkasa kit from China and it was superb! He did a bit to 'pimp' it but not enough to remove any detail or components and it turned out a lovely model. He said that they will even consider customer suggestions for kits to develop as products.
