A short video of the only four cylinder engine ever made by the late Peter Baylis. I'll make a better one when wind conditions are less severe.

a rare beasty indeed..........I had their first 3 cylinder PB3 fitted into a Marie Felling I built, that they used to test their prototype PB3 on....they aired it to the public at the Earls Court boat show in January 199? something, just before I wrote an article for Marine Modelling mag Called Radio Controlled Boat Modeller...a bi monthly mag...........The article was called something like An Idiot's guide to boiling a kettle ( something like that).........if anyone has a copy they could email me I would be greatful as I never kept mine for some reason.
I do remember though that as an idiot in the matters of steam....... I found that the engine was a pig to keep on steam and took an awful lot to actually get on steam...........I had to go into Fleetwood lake twice in one morning to rescue the boat as it just drank steam quicker than you could fill the boiler.
neil.
