Hi all, i'm looking for a small scale (ideally around 1:64 or smaller, any small size down to about 1:250 considered) model of an ex-Lifeboat - i'm aware of the 1:40 Billings Waveney and 1:48 ex-Frog 37 foot Oakley but may be too big for me, with the D&S Models kits sadly long out of production and probably never to be re-issued, are there any others out there? Even just a self-righting pulling type would be nice for display purposes....

rob.....what do you want one for..........do you want it ready built or would you be prepared to do work on one.
why I ask is I have some part made minatures of some old classic lifeboats, that one day I will finish, but if you supplied me with some rubber to mould one, I would gladly mould it for you in resin.
the longest one , the Barnett is about 5" long, so gives you a scale of them.
I have from bottom to top
35' 6" Liverpool,
41' watson,
42' watson,
46' watson and a
51' barnett class
no fittings yet, but if you fancied having a go they are made at 1:96 scale.
let me know.
neil.
