I've looked around several site but can't find an exact match, you'll have to wait for it to turn up and see if it's really plastic or something else....... a hull length of 32" is really something for plastic F1 boat!

If the engine starts and runs OK, then YES!

Well its on its way. Thank you for the replies :-)) much appreciated....Next question do you guys use the 2.4 ghz like i used to on the rc cars? Im guessing it just needs a 2 channel system. If so ill see if anyone on here got any for sale

Yes 2.4GHz is good.
Probably 2 channel but 3 if it needs 'trim' ( engine tilt ).

This is a Good engine, if you've not run one before, ask someone with experience.

Thanks for all the replies. Ive popped a bit in the wanted section to see if i can get some radio gear cheap. I know of a couple of lakes nearby that people use for model boating(moat park maidstone) and another that i dunno the name of. Is there any kind of law or permission needed to use these lakes? Being self employed ill prob take half day and go down there when its quiet.
As for racing....is this machine good enough to do a bit then? Id have thought the hull is a bit "mickey mouse" but then what do i know?! I did the research on the engine before buying and that is what stole the show for me.
Any more info or advice taken well on board!  :-))

Check the bylaws for the lake you want to use as
lakes allowing ic engines and in some cases fast
electrics are becoming rare due to wildlife concerns.
Someone on here from the area should know the score.

Hi Karlos,
The Cygnets Model Boat Club use Mote Park Lake. I think they only use IC on a Saturday ( I may be wrong) they have a Web site.
Hope this helps.
It would help if you put your Location in your profile.

Len.

as per big ada the cygnets do use mote park. i/c is sailed on saturdays and wednesday evening normally.
bylaws are that you have to have public liability insurance which is why the club is around to provide this.

we do have an i/c internal race series.
