Hi, I'm hope that someone can offer some advise on a cheddar Poteus plant that a bought Ceddar when they were still in business. I've finally got round to building it into a boat and it steams very well except that I can only get it to run in one direction which is clockwise when viewed form the rear.
I have made no adjustments to the engines since it was purchased, I assume that this may be a timing problem, anyone have any suggestions how I can correct this ?
Thanks

I'm not certain if this helps but I recently came accross the first review of the engine in an old model boats magazine. They commented then that the reverse lever needs to have a strong servo, with enough throw, which is solidly supported to make sure it moves far enough to reverse with the servo.
Obvious question but can you manually reverse the direction.
Good luck
Cheers
Geoff

Thanks Geoff,
Its not the servo or linkage as I have tried holding the reverse lever fully over and it will still only run in one direction.
Thanks
