Son would like to buy a used one off ebay to fix up and run over here in the summer

Anyone know if they were any good? I can't find any information on them anywhere


I have most of the required parts (battery etc and the damage looks like an easy fix) but would like to know what sort of motor it had.. Im hoping its 540 size as I have a rather tasty brushless that would fit nicely  :-))

I had the Robbe 'Unlimited'.... which was total crap but I do believe the Colt was an afterthought and I heard they were quite nippy but I have no empirical evidence to support that hypothesis...
