Post by: emeandy on June 03, 2013, 07:25:55 pm
Hi I've just purchase the esc https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18986__Turnigy_Aquastar_120A_Watercooled_ESC_w_Programming_Card.html it is going into a miss geico pro boat with a 1500kv motor with turnigy 2x3s 40c lipos and a octura x642 prop will this setup work ok?

Could anyone also advise how I will need to have this programmed with the esc program card?

Thanks in advance.

ESC's like this usually have destructions with them. If not they can be found here:

From looking at the setting you cannot from what i see select 6 cell lipos. You have to auto calculate which in my oppinion is not good as unless the the lipos are fully charged the auto calculate may count the cells wrong and cut off to low after cell damage occurs. It has good reviews though so cant be too bad

I would say spend a couple of quid on a pair of lipo alarms, go belt and braces as it were..... certainly cheaper than new batteries
