I am running a 1/12th Tamar, which is pretty similar in size and weight and run with this setup:-

2 brushless motors - http://www.giantshark.co.uk/xyh5055-400kv-brushless-outrunner-p-403284.html

2 ESCs - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=24569  with prog card - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=24570

2 18.5v, 5 cell Lipo - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=26713

At full speed the model looks exactly as the real boat does and the batteries last for a full sailing session

It is all available from U.K. warehouses, so the postage won't be a lot.  The items themselves total about £160
