Title: Operation of P100 "Noisy Thing"
Post by: New boy on July 17, 2013, 12:48:54 pm
Hi Guys,

I am having a little trouble starting the P100, when I blip the throttle to star the sound system it only works occasionally.

I am using a Futaba T6EX transmittor and receiver.

Any of you had this system and experienced this problem.

Cheers,

Ian

I still do - and test every single one with a Futaba 6EX. I can only suggest a more deliberate "blip" will do the trick, as if it is working some of the time then there's nothing wrong with it (or it wouldn't work at all). You should have your throttle stick spring-centred to make sure that you start from true neutral.
If that doesn't solve the problem then try plugging the P100 into another channel and testing it. That should work, in which case your transmitter has a dirty or faulty pot on the throttle stick.

Thanks for the comments Guys, I have been playing around with it all afternoon and think that I "may" have sorted the problem.

Before I blip the throttle forward I blipped reverse then forward and it worked 4 times on the trot.

I have made sure that the TX is set at zero .

I hope that this is going to be a permanent fix, fingers crossed.
